ДЕТЕРМІНАНТИ ПІІ У ШЕСТИ КРАЇНАХ-РЕСПУБЛІКАХ КОЛИШНЬОГО СРСР: ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ ДАНИХ 1995–2017 РР.

Анотація

Зазначено, що прямі іноземні інвестиції можуть принести необхідний капітал, особливо на ринки, які розвиваються, допомогти вдосконалити виробничий і торговий сектори, залучити більш ефективні технології, збільшити місцеве виробництво й експорт, створити робочі місця і розвивати місцеві навички, зумовлювати покращення соціальної та виробничої інфраструктур і загалом сприяти сталому економічному зростанню валового внутрішнього продукту. Наголошено, що з урахуванням усіх цих бажаних особливостей важливо визначити фактори, які приваблюють прямі іноземні інвестиції в економіку або групу суміжних економік. Розглянуто детермінанти ПІІ у шести країнах-республіках колишнього Радянського Союзу: Україні, Білорусі, Вірменії, Росії, Молдові та Казахстані. Після обширного огляду літератури щодо теорій і емпіричних досліджень з використанням набору перехресних даних за період 1995–2017 рр. розраховано авторегресійну модель із розділеними лагами з ПІІ / ВВП як залежною змінною. Вказано, що інфляція, зміни валютного курсу, відкритість, розмір економіки (ВВП), рівні доходів (ВНД на душу населення) й інфраструктура (вона вимірюється кількістю підключення стаціонарних телефонів і мобільних абонементів на 100 осіб) перевіряються як незалежні змінні, щоб пояснити їх вплив на відносини в довгостроковій та короткостроковій перспективі. Уточнено, що протягом визначеного періоду більший приплив ПІІ щодо ВВП був залучений на менші ринки з кращою інфраструктурою, меншою відкритістю, знеціненням курсу і більш високим рівнем доходу, хоча коефіцієнти останніх трьох змінних не значущі. Акцентовано, що результати показують тип прямих іноземних інвестицій, залучених у цьому регіоні, та оцінюються з теоретичної й практичної точок зору. Зауважено, що рекомендації щодо ведення політики стосуються посилення припливу прямих іноземних інвестицій і подальшого економічного розвитку в цьому регіоні. Визнано, що у минулому такого дослідження цього регіону не здійснювалося.
